Rescued

This Bee was found at the front of the house looking very sad and slightly ill. It was lying upside down. I brought it into the sunny part of the garden and after ten minutes and a photo shoot it suddenly stood up and took to the skies. I think it was young, the pollen sacks on the back legs are clear and there is no tell tale trace of pollen. 
Presently it is chilly in the shade and wind but lovely in the sunshine and shelter. We have ordered our usual hanging baskets from a local grower but have decided to have strawberries instead of flowers this year.
Indie has hurt his paw on something, possibly caught it on the decking as he likes to sit up there in the sunshine. He has been limping since Sunday. So today we have had a telephone consultation with our vet and we think that he should do well with a painkiller. They leave it in the porch for collection. Our son has kindly gone to collect it.
