A long shot

Well  was hoping my patience was going to pay off. A neighbour pointed out a Common Whitethroat lurking in the bushes just over our garden fences. Today I have spent a couple of hours on and off perched on a bench looking over my six foot fence in the hope of a photo. The only clear shot I got was at a great distance where it was in a small tree with 2 Great Tits...and it had it's back to me. But never say die as tomorrow is another day and I might just sneak round the field armed with my camera.
