a pensive teen

My 14 year old has been more pensive as of late - maybe because of what has happened maybe because she is growing up... And with 'growing up' comes decisions and choices. At the moment she is trying to decide who she should shadow for work experience in July. Except she does not know what she wants to do...yet.

Who really does though? I am just trying to give her confidence to try different hats on, see what sparks her and then see where it leads. At the moment - diplomacy is what appeals, she loves History, Economics and Languages. But how to you prepare for that?

I do remember this time when it is easier to know what you don't want to be/do that what you really might...
