Apple branches are good for guinea pigs to gnaw an

We have a neighbour who gives us branches for Gus and Milo but, because it's so wet where we live, they are covered in moss which is very bad news for piggies. So today's exciting blip (!) is of me scraping the moss off of the latest branch before it goes in their run.

Apart from cleaning the stick and a brief hour's diversion spotting birds for the RSPB, today I've been 'chained' to the sewing machine finishing the alterations to the lounge curtains. I think it would have been quicker to remake them to be honest. But anyway they're finished and we'll hang them tomorrow. Fingers crossed that the hems match up!

Today has been sunny but windy and the 'balmy' 10c drops to 1c with the wind chill. Brrr!
