Welford Road

Off to Leicester with Storksrock and Nighthawk to watch the Tigers. We have been coming for many years and Welford Road for me is one of the great temples of rugby. I love coming here and we have many great memories. Its been a few years since we came and the 1920s Crumbie stand that we used to sit in (or even stand in the terrace) has been renamed Holland and Barrett. Not much else has changed though. Still the same wooden bench seats and leaky roof, and the same turnstiles to get in and still the same noise of everyone stamping their feet on the wooden floor just before the teams come out. And of course another Tigers victory this time against Wasps.
