Ben Iron from the Glen Roy viewpoint..

The back tyre on my own bike wouldn't stay hard after inflation. This is S's bike, which he has now outgrown. It probably would not impress the seasoned cyclist, but all the gears work, it has front suspension and tackled the thigh burning Glen Roy gradients more easily than my own one could. Even when I have fixed the slow puncture I could maybe borrow it again. It is of twenty years more recent vintage. I wish my legs were. They are still shaky this evening.
