Feather freely floating

We had a terrific rain and wind storm around 5:30am and at 6:15 the power went off!  And stayed off!  Being the outdoor camping people we are, Jerry went out to the camper to get the camp coffee pot. Our outdoor gas grill has a side burner so coffee was made!  Yeah!  Then bless his heart he made bacon and scrabbled eggs with cheese for breakfast!  I did not even complain that he used three pans!  One was for toasting bread, one for the eggs and one for the meat.

By 9:30 the sun was out but still no power so we loaded up some lunch food and drove to the hunt camp. Had a long walk through the woods  where we saw two dead snakes, a frog on the railroad track, a little turtle and a wild turkey, an eagle, and a heron.


A day of forest therapy.
