Iris blip number 1

The first of a short series as I can't resist blipping more than one of my favourite flowers. Today was the day a few flowers opened. But you can see there are going to be a lot more in the coming days. This plant, when it was a good bit smaller, came from my niece Clare's garden in Hitchin many years ago. It continues to thrive.

A housework day because it is just too cold and windy to be out for long I did try to do some weeding but gave in after 30 mins, it was so cold!
