Wound up with a lizard...

Left the house very early this morning to catch the full moon setting. I wanted to get that for a blip, but there was a light fog and it would not have been very good.

Plan B, I would go to horse country and catch some shots of the sun coming up through the trees. With the Spanish moss and light fog it should make for some wonderful pictures. Well, by the time I got there the fog had thickened to the consistency of pea soup, but I waited for the sunrise anyway.... Bleh.... Nothing doing.

I said the heck with it and went home, waited a bit for the fog to clear, and headed out on my motorcycle for a ride. I tossed the camera on and took just my 135 lens.

Went to the river and nothing really worthwhile there, so I got some shots of my bike as insurance, lol! Right as I was leavng I got a couple pics of a lizard nd that is the blip today.....

I had high hopes, but they just didn't pan out. Tomorrow's always another day. I did see, while out riding, two juvenile bald eagles flying and playing up in the sky. I stopped and took a few shots, but that 135 just didn't have enough reach. Was very fun to watch though!
