Desperate Times

I think we know who this is aimed at.
It was a bright but very cold day, a shock after the balmy weekend temperatures, but it meant we got a lot done. We have a large chest of drawers in the hall where anything which hasn’t got a home gets chucked. I sorted it out and half filled a bin bag. I seem to have accumulated a lot of crumpled gift bags over the years and small pieces of wrapping paper.
Poppy helped me clean the bathrooms this afternoon as she’s taking the job on to raise money for Borneo. Not sure how long that’s going to last, spraying the bathroom cleaner made her arm ache!
D had bought a joint of beef for Easter Sunday but it was too hot yesterday for a roast so we’re having it tonight and trying to drag out the weekend feeling for another day although it doesn’t feel like a Bank Holiday at all, really.
