The visitor

I have a tiny pond that I inherited when I bought my house. Over the last few years I have noticed a growing number of newts. They’re very difficult to photograph. However today I noticed I had a visitor who is less shy, there’s not much of him showing though.
The white blobs are blossom which is falling off my tree in today’s rather chilly breeze.
