Very very windy today!

I stripped the bed today of everything and washed all the underneath covers but it was so windy that even though I pegged the mattress cover it ended up on the garden, which would normally be bad enough, but hubby had been top soiling the lawn!!!! Luckily the mattress cover was dry so we gave it a good shake, I think it’s ok, but sometimes it just gets too much!
In March most of our family had uncelebrated birthdays now it’s almost Paige’s birthday then Rafe’s luckily they are too young to know but us adults know. Ok, whinge over for today, we have so much to be grateful for. We are safe, and have most of what we need, still searching for dried yeast, we’ve made our own bread for more than 30 years, but living on an island bread is sometimes difficult to get and so many people are dusting down their old stored in the loft bread makers, so they are stealing my yeast ;0).
I made 2 small rice puddings today one for today one for tomorrow and Jacket potatoes for tea. And all our bedding will be freshly laundered, I love getting into fresh sheets.
Our Prime minister is on the mend, so hopefully he will be back on his feet soon. We are praying for some good news with Coronavirus this week, but people must stay at home. And social distance if they have to go out. Take care everybody.
PS hillbilly’s trainers are washed and dried, hopefully stray cats will stay out of the garden ;0)
