Easter Sunday Octopus (Of Course!)

This felt like a really good day!  Went for the maximum walk in the morning, and got to The Millennium Stones in Ardington.  Lovely quiet spot with views of the Ridgeway (See extra photos).  

The Millennium Stones are a giant sun dial; plus laid out in the grass are the planets of the Solar System (including Pluto) in their relative positions on 1 January 2000.

This was a favourite place for walks as a family, and with Bentley the dog, and the memories came flooding back.

In the evening it was slow-cooked octopus, with lightly roasted potatoes and Lisboa wine.  We first had this meal in Porto last year and it is delicious.  We found the cooked octopus in Costco, of all places, and it is just as good!
