Inside a magnolia

We took a breezy walk down by the river. Looking at the blossom, the flowers in bloom and listening to the birds reminds me that the world is still turning.

We had a Facetime chat with some of my relatives in Italy yesterday. They are in Rome. People are starting to break the lock down rules. Having an aperitif in groups in the streets, leaving Rome in their droves and the police are putting up road blocks. My brother in Los Angeles said it is a very strict lock down there. People have to wear masks and gloves to go to the shops. I wonder if things will get tougher here.
