El cabezon

Cabezon means big-headed.  You can see (looking west from Placitas) Cabezon Peak, a large volcanic plug that is a prominent feature in northwestern New Mexico. It rises to 7,785 feet in elevation.  Climbed it a couple years back; one of the most physical climbs ever, with the winds howling across the top, but the view was breath-taking, Or was that the wind?
