Silly Saturday ....

... more like Stupid Saturday.

Even though it was still a little windy today we wanted to get out for a walk …. I hadn't been out since Wednesday.

We started out at Plainfield Rail Trail … both for a walk and to see if the chippies would be around.

We both wore the masks that I made for us because maintaining social distance isn't always easy on these nice spring days.  There were a lot of people on the trail but we tried our best to avoid getting too close.  Including this group of cyclists ... there are five in total and not maintaining very good social distancing!

After leaving Plainfield we drove to Jacobsburg State Park.  There wasn't anyone around in the area that we usually visit so we felt pretty safe there ... but today we only saw one frog in the pond.  But when I was in the bird blind I did see what I've identified as a Ruby-crowned Kinglet! I had to use the Merlin app to help me identify this little bird as I wasn't at all sure what it was.  Unfortunately I didn't get a good enough picture to blip!

We went straight home after our walks and that's where we stayed!
