Billing and cooing

These wood pigeons were all coupled up in one of the birch trees at the bottom of the garden. There's an X-rated shot from a few minutes later in Extras, if of interest.

Another quiet day at home, although Mr DA and I were out for an hour-and-a-half walk over the common before 8.30 this morning. It was lovely out and we heard our first cuckoo of the year. We followed its call and found the tree it was in - and saw it fly off. Spring is definitely here.
