maintenance, the trouble with lockdown is that the car is not being used, oil drains to the bottom, the battery can suffer and tyres may develop flat spots. Grandson was eager to help me, he started the engine, moved the car forwards a couple of feet and maintained a rev count of a bit over 2000 rpm for about 20 minutes. We got the engine properly warm and helped the battery become charged. The plan is to perform this ritual weekly.

In case you are wondering grandson is 17 in 2 years and 8 months and he can start driving lessons then.
