A bird in the hand

We’re in our first week of chicken ownership and so far it’s been fun and rewarding. Advice is to hold them often so they get familiar with close human contact, and today was Andrea’s first go at picking them up. They are lovely creatures, and nice to have around. No eggs yet but fingers crossed!
