Peter Pan

I've gone a whole week without blipping a saxifrage, so here's another favourite. This one is called Peter Pan. As my soil is very heavy clay I have to grow all my saxifrages in large terracotta pots. 

Fewer butterflies today: Orange Tip, Peacock and Small White. But I did see my first grass snake of the year and it was a really big one, so probably a female. It took me by surprise and I had no chance of photographing it before it disappeared into the vegetation.
