Mr sparrow
As i said before the resident House sparrows are nesting in the nest boxes all around our bedroom window. This is the male of the pair that is nesting in the box just to the left of our window, and because of where the box is situated they tend to stop off in the old Lilac tree right outside our window on the way in and out.
This is the male, who as far as i can tell is doing a lot of the nest building and rocked up this morning with this large piece of root MR U&L must have pulled out of the garden yesterday. He did seem rather pleased with himself, although how he plans to get it through the nest hole I am not sure!

My garden once again, because it just keeps on giving.
A large cross stitch cushion cover, it is just soo relaxing to do!
