Irises

Early morning, sunlight filtered through the oak tree.  
Cut chunks of the california holly ( toyon) out of the hedge which screens our house from the street - leaving enough to hide the people and cars, but making more of the view to Black Mountain visible. Talked to assorted people from the ladder. Most people here have regular gardeners for upkeep, and they are no longer on the list of 'essential' workers, so we all have more gardening to do.
