Open Door

Going out of church this morning, was struck by the sunshine lighting up the open door. Something we are very convinced about in our church is that we exist for those OUTSIDE the church, which is why these doors are open most of the week for all sorts of activities, from art activities to toddler groups, to exercise for the over 50's, to soup runs for the homeless.

Today, we have a speaker from "A Rocha", a 'Christians in Conservation' organisation, that M and I actually visited in the Algarve just after they began, about 27 years ago. They now have projects in 19 countries, including Brazil. Their website: www.arocha.org
