Easter hunt ready!

Earlier this week we made salt sough easter decorations. Once the girls were asleep we hid eggs and have put out the decorations as clues to help them find them. Not a fancy photo but a memory of Easter to look back on.

Woke up this morning to a small puddle in the hallway. Turns out we had a damaged cold water pipe. Looks like caused by the fact it was rubbing against another pipe and the additional water pressure now we are on a combi.

John took the ceiling down (not a big deal as it was going to be replaced anyway) and a local plumber we have used before came over. He isolated the leak which is seen as emergency work, but he cant come back to fix it until after lockdown. Very grateful he came out and we can manage without water to the bathroom for a while. Luckily the shower is electric and on a different pipe. Felt anxious having someone in tue house after being isolated for so long but we maintained a distance.

I scrubbed the playroom floor boards and then we moved the toys in. The girls were very excited and it looks great. We still need to carpet but very happy with it and it'll be fine with rugs down for a while.
