Elfie and Floss (the dark one)

This is one of the few areas we can let Elfie off the lead, mainly as there's too many chickens, cats, sheep etc in the local vicinity and as they were both rescue Lurchers, we suspect he was used as a hunting dog. It took us some years to get him to understand what 'fun' is rather than being serous all the time. Floss is fine generally but gets egged on by him so as a pair they can be quite formidable.

Floss hates cars and gets very panicked so this is one of the reasons they don't feature more in my blips in the landscape, its too hard for her to go anywhere. He hates being parted from her. Rescue dogs often come with baggage but they are both great characters.
