Silly Saturday

Competition time
Can anyone guess what this bee is sitting on.
Clue- it’s not a flower
I’ve seen some very big bees this month. This morning, one flew into our house and it seemed to be about the size of a small mouse, without a tail.
I managed to trap it in our fly-catcher and it just about fitted in before I released it.
Perhaps this lack of social contact is beginning to tell on me!!!
P.S. The extra made me smile - in a cruel kind of way!
