Swimming in chocolate!

E my 13 year old son had a friend for tea today.
Since there was no snowball fighting to entertain them now, they asked if they could 'bake' a big chocolate cake!
Why not!
So i got everything out, wrote down what to do shut the door and left them to it. Brave i know!
A couple of times the door opened, can we melt the chocolate yet? Can we melt the chocolate yet?? Can we melt the chocolate yet!!!
Advice was given until the time for chocolate melting and pouring was ready.
Then it came ' i think we have put too much chocolate on mum!' Came the shout from the kitchen!
It was then they showed me the reservior of choclate with the cake swimming in the middle! And still half a bowl full of the stuff left!
So with cornflakes to the rescue for the half a bowl of chocolate, the cake was decorated, and all put in the fridge
And here is the result!!
I think it could even give my scottish friend a run for her money ;)
But i havent tasted it just yet! ........
