Crashed Ice!

Red Bull's Crashed Ice finals are in St Paul this weekend. You can see how the course starts up by the St Paul Cathedral and winds its way down the hill. What a crazy, crazy event, which brought thousands of people to St Paul. We went up to try and see the race, took a few photos but couldn't take the crowds. This photo was taken from a near-by parking ramp.

This is all part of the St Paul Winter Carnival, a way for St Paul to celebrate winter. Don and I came in to spend the afternoon and evening checking out the ice sculptures, the GreatWaters Brewery with their outdoor ice bar, Crashed Ice, the Pat McGovern's Pub and some excellent jazz at the Artists Quarter. Was nice to get to the Artists Quarter where we could sit, relax and rest my legs.
All in all a fun time in the city with alot of crazy, fun people!
