Looked Like They Were Flowering Wool
Had a little trip out in the car this morning as I had to drop some food off for China (animal welfare is considered essential travel). I didn’t stop but I did say a quick ‘hello’ to China as he was out in the field, lovely to see him without a rug in the warm weather.
Sushi was unusually keen for our family walk today, I think boredom is starting to kick in and he was keen on the idea of an hour doing something different. We walked halfway up the hill and across the top to the other side of the village. Some of the bushes in the sheep field looked like they were ‘flowering wool’.
I was very excited to take a grocery delivery from our local farm shop this afternoon. It was nice to support a local business (especially one ran by a friend) and even better that the delivery contained enough to mean that I don’t have to do a supermarket shop for a while (2 hours was the queue times at our local Tesco today) and the bottle of wine it contained was just the icing on the cake!
