Returning home

10 weeks ago today M had a terrible ski accident, colliding with another skier on the piste. He's been rebuilt and repaired, transfered between hospitals, and had some fantastic care. It's not all been uphill though and they were very worrying times. 4 weeks ago he finally came home. BUT it was obvious things weren't right. A week later he was back in the hospital, this time with no visiting. A serious infection in his leg was diagnosed. So to sum up he's had one week home in the last ten, 7 operations some complex and lengthy, multiple bits of metal put in, several taken back out and some more put back in. He's so happy to be home and we're so happy to be reunited. A very Good Friday.
