Baking

Needed to make bread today (could be a pun in there) so decided to do some more baking while the mixer was out.
While the bread was proving we had a Zoom coffee morning with some of the church folk, nice to be able to see and talk to them, and then I returned to the kitchen.
This isn't quite all I made (some meringues later with leftover egg white) but there were 2 brown loaves, 13 lapsang souchong muffins and uncounted biscuits with vanilla, chocolate bits, blueberries and cherries - using up things in the cupboard. Should last us a while!
This afternoon's run was some hill reps on the golf course, a good feeling once done as you're glad you've survived.
Online Good Friday service this evening, a good time to reflect.
