Variation on a theme

Bit of a pottering type of morning that came and went in the way that pottering types of mornings do.

Another absolutely stunning day today so I obviously hit the lanes on the bike. Thankfully it was much more still than when I did the same route a few days ago. Amazingly, I think I saw more tractors out than cars today. There’s something about the heady mix of smells that come from a farm, takes me right back to my youth and probably bobbing around on the bike much like today.

My evening has been spent in the company of Dan Walker on Radio 2, hosting the most wonderful Good Friday service. Beautifully remembering the day that changed so much for so many.
