Good Friday

The weather has been spectacular today.  Started the day early finishing the cards and writing them then Ro and I went to deliver them!  

As we went out it was so quiet!  It was eerie!
Lunch and time to see the Good Friday service:  The Tenebrae from a church in Chicago!  It was all in plainsong!  So not that easy to understand.  It was the first time I listened to this service they gradually put out candles till there is just one for Christ and then that goes out symbolising his death.  Going into darkness.

Then I went out to help paint two more fence panels!  Ro is making us fish fingers mash and beans for dinner!  I'm about to phone various friends!  Little Missy has decorated all the front windows with rainbow drawings!
