DIY

S decided to wash the back windows today while I pottered about and tried to look busy. However my DIY skills came to the fore when one of the sash-cord catches failed to catch. It didn’t need to hold for long luckily, she can do the windows twice as quick as me!
Had a shorter than usual stint at the allotment in the afternoon but finished off the new mini veggie bed. Nothing needed watering because it had turned pretty chilly but I saw the first signs of life - the rocket seeds are sprouting. The cold must have been keeping most folk indoors with almost nobody in the allotments and very few in the park. Suspect that’ll change over the holiday weekend.
