Day 16

A lovely warm day. Could have been summer.

Usual walk round the roads near our house.. aiming for the ones that are tree lined with grass verges, much  nicer. 
We walked pass the Tesco metro which didnt have any queues.. I felt like I should go in , simply because there wasnt a queue but I didn't.  A sign of the times that shopping means queuing before you even enter the shop.

Back home we got out the garden chairs and sat in the sun. For once it wasnt windy.. unusual when you live on the coast .. and for once the main garden wasnt windy so we sat in there. Would have been a very restful afternoon if our neighbour  hadn't decided to start up his industrial power washer.  VERY loud and it went on for 2 hours. He finally stopped and we could enjoy the garden and the bird song properly.
I read a bit of the free book I'd downloaded.. until the battery needed recharging..( which is why I prefer real books!  )


And... I got the bluray player to work. After trying everything  suggested in the downloaded manual to no avail I phoned the man who sold it , who talked me through different options before suggesting unplugging it for 5 minutes then switching it on again! I'm glad we bought  local.
So final season of Game of Thrones tonight.. yes I've seen it, but good escapism is what I need at the moment
