Sickbed

I knew something was wrong when I found George lying in my bed next to his archenemy, Not My Cat, without hissing or growling. As it turned out he was obviously in pain - he walked in a crouched position and was unable to jump. Luckily he isn't badly injured; the vet suspects that he has a large bruise beneath his fur because even experienced cats like George don't always land on the paws. I just have to give him some pain medication and keep him indoors for a couple of days. This means: Whenever he is not asleep he is sitting next to the door, singing the song of his people at the top of his voice.
