Winterland Romp
Took the dogs for a run in the woods with Mr. Badger in the afternoon, the sun was starting to go down. It is still freezing out! They are saying by I think Thursday it is going to be 50F ... that is ridiculous! That should kill off most of the snow (though we are supposed to get some more on Monday, we shall see). Mr. Badger was out all night with some friends from work doing nerd things. He didn't get back until 6 am. I ran out to get a couple of groceries a little after 10am, and by the time I got back, he was already awake! Apparently the dogs had started a wrestling match the moment I left, which ended with them wrestling on top of Mr. Badger - including some barking right in his ears. Bad dogs!
Green Smoothies - Day 2:
So I drank close to 60 ozs of the stuff. Not bad, but definitely hard to get it all down. I found a book that outlined what to do when getting started and I found it to be very helpful. She says to drink about 16 ozs every 3-4 hours and have lots of herbal tea and water in between. Snacking on fruits and veggies throughout the day is encouraged. I am still having a solid meal for dinner - I had a cesar wrap (so more greens ;) ) last night. Despite that, when I hopped on the scale this morning, I had already lost 3.5 lbs, yay! Very encouraging :D I did feel a little dizzy when I drank the smoothies, which was weird, but that only happened on Friday. I also picked up some stevia, as per the book I got, and it has helped in improving the smoothie's taste quite a bit! I drank 50 ozs about today (Mr. Badger almost drank that much as well :) ). Phew. Two days down :)
