Lock down ...... day 26....... Spain

Avenida Mediterráneo is one of the main pedestrian routes in central Benidorm ~
It is one block back from Levante Beach.....
And at 6.30 this afternoon it was absolutely empty.

The road we normally use, to drive into Benidorm, has been closed
So we had to use the main N-332, road
We were stopped at a compulsory road block by a Police Officer... we explained that we were on our way to the hospital for a Radiotherapy appointment ....
And we were able to pass through, without any difficulty
It would appear that the quarantine restrictions are being tightened.. for the Easter Holiday weekend ...
to prevent visitors from other parts of Spain, arriving on the Costa Blanca for a brief holiday over the Easter time..... and potentially bringing the Covid virus with them
