FaceTime Bake Off!

Our twin grandchildren who live in Bournemouth and we in Guernsey did a FaceTime baking session this afternoon. We both had the same ingredients and they followed Nanny’s instructions. We had fun! I made myself a chef’s hat out of card and a carrier bag, the twins wore their baking outfits too. Once the cakes were made and assembled we FaceTimed again for a taste test! The decision was that theirs was the best!! This evening our local grandchildren scooted round to our house to give us Easter cards our granddaughter had made. They were lovely! Both of them had also done some sketching today and wanted to show us. They are very artistic! I had a very emotional call with my Mum today........both of us in tears! We don’t know when we’ll see each other again. She’s 91 and in a care home but doing really well bless her! Some more in extras!
