Blackbird Singing In The Dead Of Night

It's been like a summers day, hot and sunny from dawn till dusk.
I've spent most of it sitting in the garden with a good book. Bliss.

I didn't head out for a walk until after 5pm. I vaguely thought that I would try and find the swallows that I saw yesterday. They clearly had other ideas so I kept on walking.
I've taken photos of pheasants, yellow hammers and a flying buzzard but this blackbird, singing at the top of his voice, brought the Beatles song to mind and, on the way home I thought to combine it with last night's full moon.
