Bit of a unit

Bloody covid-19! Come to donate blood and there's no hot drinks, no stickers, and no Penguins!!! They did at least have bourbons and mini cheddars I suppose.

Went over to Crewe Alexandra's Gresty Road this afternoon for a 'vital healthcare appointment'. They've had to take some of the same covid measures as us; screening questions, extended appointment slots, more space for social distancing, extra ppe. Blood stocks aren't desperate at the moment but there are plenty of people unable to donate just now. Despite all the constraints the whole thing was pretty slick and before I knew it I was done and scouring the snacks...in vain.
