Les Fleurs du Mail

These arrived through the post, today, courtesy of the Minx. They looked a bit deflated as I took them out of the box but I cropped the stems, popped them in a vase, and put them on the dining table, which is doubling up as my desk. By the afternoon, they'd had a good drink. and made a wonderful recovery.  

It was nice to find myself in the frame of mind where I saw that as a metaphor for our situation; the anxiety seems to have passed.
