THE LION

I've been taking morning walks for the past few days, and I saw this beautiful planter someone had in their front yard. Entering into Holy week, I thought, wow, what a significance this lion has! Sure, Jesus was the sacrificial lamb, but he also symbolizes a big, strong, loud lion that defeats evil. Like lions are the king of the jungle, Jesus is the king of the world. We will hear his roar when he raises from the dead on Sunday.
