Day 23 Maundy Thursday
Sat and finished my book this morning, The Kings Curse by Phillip gregory. Made me realise what a week king Henry VIII was and brutal and unprincipled using people to his own end.I have now started There sisters, Three queens. Mary Queen of Scots, Katherine of Aragon and Elizabeth 1st.
The bird song was really lovely again and since the neighbours chopped their holly tree down I haven't been able to locate Mr Robin. Today I did and the camera was at hand. This is a very heavy crop again.
Saw the finches again, this time the pair. They were flitting all round the garden.
My daughter phoned this morning and said she is going to be interviewed live on Radio cornwall tomorrow in their unsung heroes slot. She doesn't feel a hero just a person trying to carry on her business in a hard time. Up to last night she had delivered or posted 59 packs of scrub kits to be made up for the Cornish hospitals. She is also fulfilling her internet and phone orders. She is working 8:15 - 16:00 hours in her shop and sounds really tired no customers in the store as she is closed.
If the sky is clear tonight I will try to take a moon shot and pigs might fly.
Still trying to get my head round This is Holy week and today is Maundy Thursday.
