Bee-Fly

Buzzing over the grass the furry little bee-fly was loving the sun and after chasing carefully stalking him over the lawn he settled happily on a leaf. Tentatively settling myself next to him and edging forward, I finally managed  to end up completely sprawled over the worst bit of garden we have. He looks fierce but is harmless though is a parasitoid to mining bees.

Up early to get the morning light in the bird hide then off on a bike ride. Only a couple of snags with the parents today on the phone so all good.
