Shaving Straw Bales.

Today I am mostly trimming the edges of the bales getting ready to apply the lime render next week. Nettle and wild garlic soup for tea tonight. I haven't been anywhere for nearly 2 weeks so the larder is getting a bit limited. Still got lots of oatmeal so had an enormous bowl of porridge for breakfast, my Scottish mother would not have approved as I had it in the style of my English father with lots of golden syrup. Set me up for the day.
