The Small Things

A busy home working day.

And after all of that had finished, I found myself focussing on the small things:

* the house sparrows, who love our ivy clad fence (these days, more of an ivy hedge than a fence). This cock sparrow looks to be in belligerent mood
* the hover-flies patrolling our garden - stationary in mid air, then suddenly moving at incredible speed sideways. Trying to focus on one is a mad thing to do (Extra)
* and high above, an aeroplane and it’s jet trail, passing over. The flight radar app tells me it is a cargo plane en route from Amsterdam to Chicago.(Extra). There are so few planes now, with air traffic down more than 90%, one passing overhead is worth checking out. I wonder what it is transporting ?
