Looking Up The Hill

We seem to be sleeping longer and getting up later this week, (must be all this exercise!) so it was mid-morning before we took our walk on Street Hill. This was taken from the bottom of the footpath looking back up to the top of the hill. It was still a bit hazy so I thought it looked better in mono.

By this afternoon the sun had burst through and it was really hot by the time we were sanding down and painting the final two garden chairs.

Chris and most of his fellow workers were put on furlough by Clarks yesterday so, free from the obligation to work, this afternoon he did the bike ride we did yesterday - in about half the time!
