Sunshine

I made the most of the warm sunshine and went for a pleasant walk. I was hoping there might be a few butterflies around, but I saw only this one Small Tortoiseshell. I did see quite a few curlews on the fields near our house. I suspect the fields are still quite wet in the hollows making them an ideal place for those long beaks to probe for invertebrates. Plenty of Skylarks too.
