The rookery

We pass this rookery every day on our walk.
What a noise. The fist time I thought it was children playing out and shouting to one another. Then as we got nearer I looked up and realised it was the birds.

Another beautiful day. More people out enjoying the sunshine, but everyone keeping their distance.

Our eldest granddaughter rang to say she had a few things for us. ( see extra)
It was such a delight to see her “ in the flesh “.
Bless her she also brought us a bunch of daffodils and a packet of Mini Malteser Bunnies.
She is waiting to find out when and where she will be sent back on to the children’s ward.
She has been tutored on line about how to deal with Covid - 19.

So very sorry to learn about the bus drivers who have died because of contracting the disease.
We have noticed that the busses which have passed us in the last few weeks, have had a maximum of 2 people on the bus.

Good news today is that Boris seems to be improving.
